Life This Month 15 – December 2012
Posted by on December 31, 2012
After the initial 2 weeks of Finals, it was finally Winter break! I have been extremely busy these past 3 months, so I played to my hearts extent and did as I wished. Just repeating days of Halo, manga, anime, eroge, and occasionally some blog posts.
Some newly opened figures on my desk. As mentioned in my Christmas greeting post, I wasn’t in the mood to play with the parts, so in the end I just angled them towards each other.
A demonstration of how I sleep everyday. Well, not on a bench.
I have been reading and catching up on manga, especially Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai. I only have 3 bookmarks, but 6 different series of books. I ordered some new ones, but I wonder if they have arrived yet.
I have also put the winter scarf and gloves set on Haruhi and Miku.
I also unboxed Reimu some time earlier this month, who is now cozy on my desk.
For anime, I have begun watching Accel World, Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu, Seitokai no Ichizon, Toradora!, and continuing YuruYuri♪♪, One Piece and the ToLoveRu OVAs. As usual, I’m spreading them out so that I don’t finish them too soon.
It has been a good month. Breaks are always good. With the end of December, it also means that my break is coming to an end as well. I’m just hoping that I will not be as busy as before.

The desk you have here is small, but you make it look very nice.
I’ve been meaning to ask you, what anime that you’re currently watching is your favorite, and what is/are your favorite anime(s) of all-time?
I enjoy the majority, if not every, show that I’m watching at any time. For what I’m watching right now, I’m really enjoying Black Rock Shooter, Accel World, Boku ha Tomodachi ga Sukunai NEXT, and Minami-ke Tadaima. That’s about half of what I’m watching currently. ^^;
It’s hard to pick just a few out for my favorites of all time. I meant to list these in my About page, but I think that you can guess why it’s not done yet. I will need some time to recall my experiences, and whether or not the show has sequels greatly affects my passion for it too. I will let you know whenever I get it sorted out. ^^
Ah, I see. Thank you for letting me know! I thought you would have said Toradora, because within so many days, you were almost done with it! Toradora is really great though, it’s become one of my favorite animes (my top favorites are Hyouka and Bakemonogatari, in case you were curious).
I also remembered to actually press the “reply” button this time!
I do like Toradora, but I wouldn’t say it is a favorite. The direction it took during the latter half isn’t exactly to my liking. For instance, Kawashima Ami really had her role shadowed over by others and I really liked her too. In the end, I don’t exactly understand each character’s thinking.
The ending left me wanting more, and I feel that there are still more story that can be filled out. Now I’m all the more tempted to read the light novel, but I’m afraid what if not even the novel satisfies me.
I think I would have really liked a harem ending. That would have been awesome, although not many might agree with me.
I watched it so fast because I was watching it for dinner. Normally, I watch One Piece every dinner, but I have caught up. So next, I’m going to watch Transformers Galaxy Force for dinner.
